Google yesterday launched the Google Chrome Os. The next big thing from Google. But what exactly is a Chrome OS? In layman terms, It is a computer with a browser. Just browser and no other applications. However you can browse internet , watch videos , listen to music, blog, social network, collaborate documents, play online games etc, everything inside the browser.
Its not a new technology. We are doing all these even now on our browser. But we also have other programs installed on our computer which also performs the same tasks. Having more programs means , your operating system should support more feature and that makes your computer slow.
Google is providing a lean operating system with a fully loaded browser. And that's called as Google Chrome OS. Its mainly aimed at netbooks. But sooner or later it will be released for laptops and desktops.

This week is significant to me. This blog has crossed more than 10k visits. Ofcourse 10k visits is not a great achievement on a global scale. But Still I don't waste any opportunity in life to celebrate. To commemorate 10k visits I am publishing some metrics about the blog.
